The Organizing Committee of 2010 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races cordially invites the dragon boat organizations from around the world to participate in the 2010 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races, which will be held from 23 to 25 July 2010. In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the modern Hong Kong international dragon boat races, the Races will be staged again at the world renowned Victoria Harbour with the legendary 640m race course. The Event combines an exhilarating, fast-paced dragon boat competition, traditional customs and colourful entertainment around the East Tsim Sha Tsui that will bring plenty of excitement and enjoyment to both paddlers and spectators.
The Junior A Hong Kong International Championships is open to juniors from the age under 18 but 12 or over year old. No gender restriction for this category. (Age limit is calculated at 23 July 2010. (Born on 23 July 1992 25 July 1998) The Junior B International Championships is open to juniors from the age under 16 but 12. No gender restriction for this category. Age limit is calculated at 23 July 2010. (Born on 23 July 1994 25 July 1998) The Senior A International Championships is open to seniors from the age of 40 and above.

The Senior B Hong Kong International Championships is open to seniors from the age of 50 and above. No gender restriction for this category. Age limit is calculated at 23rd July 2010. (Born on or before 23 July 1960). For Junior and Senior Hong Kong International Championships, a Team Members Identities Confirmation Form and the copy of passport showing date of birth of all paddlers must be submitted together with the entry form. Race Officials will verify the participants qualification under this rule by checking their original passport before the race is conducted. All personal data collected will be used only for the sole purpose for conducting fair competition and will be destroyed within one month after the event.
